Yes actually it was a black and white old episode.
It has a old timey hunter and his blood hound. They went hunting and the went home not knowing they died. Turns out the dog got stuck in the swamp and the hunter went in together him but both died.
So they start walking down a road. They meet a man at a gate. He tells the hunter that past the gate is heaven. So he wants to go in. But the man says no dogs allowed. They argue about it till the man says I will let you in than let the dog sneak in on the side. The hunter says that's shady and says he rather not go if the dog cant.
So the hunter walks away with his dog.
Till he meets another man at a gate. The man says reason the other guy didn't get the dog in is because he would of smelled the brimstone and warned the hunter he was walking into hell. But in this man's place the dog is allowed and so the hunter and dog walk side by side to the real heaven.
Really a beautiful episode. Simple in look but story was good.
Glad to see some original TZ fans here. That show is monumental for the sci-fi genre. I honestly found lots of episodes genuinely shocking when watching them for the first time about ten years ago. Lots of people dislike black and white stuff just because it's black and white, or it must be old. And it's not without its cheese, but it's definitely not lacking in awesome moments either.
I adore old TV and movies. From every era. I used to watch nick at nite and cmt. I love all types of movies as well. Scary drama comedy period and so on
Lol I am extremely eclectic. But there are some I cant stand ones where they purposely kill kids. As in under 10. Especially if on screen. I was watching one alien B-list movie with my husband one day and this guy went to go save a baby and the grabs the kid fine just the aliens chase him and to safe his fucking self he threw the baby in the air. It hit the road hard dead and aliens took it. So I told my husband nonthats it In done turn it off.
We never saw how it ended.
