1. If they planned for Robin William's to be in here, then how long was this movie in the making?
2. Maybe its just me, but I cant really see Robin as professor oak (but then again, I couldn't see Jim Carrey as eggman, so I could've been proved wrong)
Peter Jackson wanted to make Lord of the Rings for 30 years, but the technology wasn't available to do it back then. Also, scripts, storylines, go through lots of changes and corrections before finally being greenlit
