Honestly this is such a heavy point. I’m scared to go running alone at night but I have to run at dusk because the weather is too hot in the day. I live in a safe neighborhood but the risk is always present

In a very well to do, low crime village near me a woman was dragged into an alley and raped at 3 in the afternoon so you're absolutely right, that risk is never absent.
