Places like Italy and Germany 16 is the legal drinking age. That being said dependence on drinking after a bad day is not good at any age. Plus juice tastes better. Fill the void with cookies until your brain develops. Also perhaps a beating is too far if you believe the person to young to drink why would violence be cool?
