as an Australian that lived in America, I found it comical that it was easy to "Pull the wool over people's eyes". Got pulled over when driving on my Queensland, Australian, driver's license. When the state trooper asked what "Queensland" was, and i said it's a state in Australia, he asked "what is that?" At first i was dumbfounded by the lack he had no idea that other countries had states. I had to point out America had 50 states, Australia had 7 states and territories and other countries have the same or call them provinces. State Trooper, position of authority that needs a certain level of intellect to make a correct decision in dangerous situations, didn't know what a "State" was
I just read an article about a cop that forgot that he took a bite out of his own sandwich 7 hours prior and then tried to get a McDonald's employed fired over it because he said they did it because he was a cop.
For those of you who have relatives in the blue here in the US, I'm sorry, but it's abundantly clear that we don't have high enough standards.
average IQ for a US police officer is 105, that's average, in Australia, need a university degree or at least 5 years running your own (successful) business
Hey Vulture, as an "educated American", I imagine you'd know that you don't use an apostrophe for a plural ... right? ...

Didn't know this was a grammar essay, next time I'll make sure to spend hours going over every letter and punctuation to ensure everything is of proper order for a guest that doesn't know what the reply button does.
Unpopular opinion - when you make grammatical errors you undermine your own argument. Your ethos is compromised when you aren't conscientious about grammar. Guest is still an idiot for pointing it out, though.
