My grade had these people come in and talk about positive relationships, we were taught about how if you are in a negative relationship your bar is dropped so low that every slightly better relationship will be an improvement, no matter if it is still worse then average, it is better than what you had. Basically they told us to have standards and demand respect because otherwise it isn't gonna work out. I don't know what my point was...
