Lucifer actually means creator/bringer of light, so... that's a nice name, in a way. Don't judge a book by its cover.

well youve got to remember that lucifer and beezebub are actually two different things one of which is a fallen angel from the bible and the other is a bastardization of a philistine god, their mixing into the same thing happened far later than their origins
