One of my exgirlfriends is Mormon, and literally all she talked about was getting married. Marriage is such a foreign concept to me that I really can't ever see myself doing it.

Weddings don’t have to be expensive. Kids aren’t on the current agenda because those are expensive.
To that point marriage changes what you qualify for in student loans , insurance, ect. the wedding could be as cheap as a court document but you can not afford it in other ways. Sincere congrats I hope its a wonderful day for you two!

Very true. I have insurance through my job and I’m all set with school. I’m enjoying this phase of my life right now.
