Nah, the groundwork has been laid for a solid spiderverse for Tom. He'll just hang out with Venom, do a Spider-verse movie, and be a much more "friendly neighborhood" spiderman.

Hows that gonna work though? He just transfers from one cinematic universe to another, or they just reboot him for the umpteenth time with Tom still playing him?

The first one. You keep all the spiderman-only characters and team him up with Tom Hardy's Venom or something. There's a lot of spiderman stories and characters that we haven't seen in his movies because he's been too busy being a Avenger (not that that wasn't awesome)

But why would they just move Tom spiderman from the MCU to a completely different universe? The poor children will get confused! Think of the children!

I'm betting they come to an agreement with a month. Spider-man staying in the MCU is just too important.
