Most dead people are old, though that does bring up the question of why there aren't Ice Age ghosts and shit kicking around.

You were probably only talking about humans but I'm thinking of a ghost mammoth going THOMP THOMP THOMP in my bedroom at 2 am and that's both hilarious and terrifying.
