Yes but the dinosaur goo in question is not oxidized and released into the atmosphere. So as long as it is disposed of in the proper way it will have little to no effect on the environment.

It's actually really sweet because the enviromental head of lego said that they can't expect kids to play with their toys if they destroy their future in the making of them, that's paraphrasing though but still it's really sweet!
