People who do this on buses should be blacklisted from public transport

That’s very uncool. Blacklisting May be a bit extreme though. It’s dangerously close to some of the darker aspects of China’s social credit system. There are very good odds that someone taking a bus and eating what looks like convenience store meals on the bus isn’t the most well off person in the world. We can blacklist them- but does that really help society? How will they work or conduct their life? If they can’t accomplish these things what are the long term consequences of essentially cutting them off?

It seems intuitive to punish those who do “wrong,” but.... well, if someone’s background and life experiences are what drive them towards wrong doing because they weren’t properly socialized or are angry or contemptuous at society and it’s systems- we can often just make our problems worse even if they are at least “pushed under the bed” until they become to large to do so any longer.

Trust me, I've seen a lot worse left on buses over the years.

Yep, other half was a bus driver, he had people pee on the seats more than once
