Correction, this is an hour from my hometown, but close enough. This is the result of someone figuring that since the cops weren't around for the hurricane they could just drive anywhere they wanted, so they drove on the beach. Myrtle Beach's sand is not the kind you can drive on, not with a jeep, not with a damn tank, so this person just lost their entire damn car

OHHHH. This is Myrtle Beach. I had no idea what this meme was. Now it makes more sense. My partner is from back east and calls Tahoe the “Myrtle Beach of the north west” and I think now I understand.
