Unless they had previously been researching and testing this drug, my best guess is that there is strong evidence suggesting that it will ignore healthy cells, not that it WILL.

And, if you read the new article from the tweeter, they only in year two of their testing, when it typically takes about a decade or longer to successfully test a new drug.
