A Nintendo costs more now than it did when it was new.

You can get the little remakes pretty cheap, but unless y’all are searching using terms other than “Nintendo” I’m not seeing anything less than $65, and most offerings are over $100.

Refurbished is not a remake, it's a classic system that is guaranteed to work. and I just searched ebay and saw several for $60 and didn't bother looking further. Anyways, when they came out, a new NES with no game was $90, with a game was $100, most people got a bundle that was $150 (because usually the bundle was all you could find.) I was lucky and got a bundle with the power pad and all that stuff for $200

The original one I had got fidgety and about 15 years ago I bought one on eBay that worked and looked perfect, back then you could get one for $15-20. You know, I bet if you check around in like pawn shops and stuff you could find them around that price, if you're in the market

Have been. That’s why I had a price in mind. Saw one “on sale” for $150...
