Humans are actually somewhat threatening despite also being surprisingly fragile. We posses an appreciable capability for strength overall. We lack a great deal of armor or mass but there aren’t too many predators more massive. The world is full of predators but when we think “ predator” we think shark, tiger, bear, etc since most predators pose minimal threat to us. We are quick and agile in general. We also have incredible endurance. Before we had mastered the pointy stick business we would simply follow prey until it dropped from exhaustion. We thrive in a huge degree of climates and environments- and there aren’t too many places we can’t go that any other creature which isn’t specialized for extremes can. We also hunt and live and travel in packs- with cities being an example of how large these packs can become. It’s very hard for a shark to ambush downtown Chicago and live to tell the tale let alone make off with a decent meal for the effort.
