I had the same experience

I still remember that weird bee sting shit they did

"Hey cutie! Wanna pollinate with a real bug?"
"So being a ladybug automatically makes me a girl. Is that it, Fly Boy?"
"Yikes! Shes a guy?!"

I saw it in 4D and now have a debilitating phobia of bugs. Thanks Disney
