I'm bad at math, but I'm going to try and be specific on how he managed this. So if my calculations are wrong, then it was to be expected
There are 8,760 hours in a year. I'm doing my calculations based on the origional trilogy and not the extended versions, meaning a total of 9.2 running time
If OP got 7 hours of sleep a night, that would be 2,555 hours dedicated to sleeping
If OP worked 40 hours a week, then that's 2,080 hours for work
That's already 4,685 hours total
Ok so let's add 3 additional hours a day dedicated to eating and personal hygiene. Thatll be 1,095 hours
Totaling at 5,780 hours
That leaves 2,980 hours of free time to watch the films
With that free time, he can watch the origional LOTR trilogy a maximum of 324 times.
Those left over 24 viewings can be dedicated to "spare time" meaning potential socialization or overtime or extra sleep. This extra time would be 220 hours. That's roughly 9 days to do whatever OP wants besides watching the films.
So not only is it possible to watch the lord of the rings trilogy 300 times a year, but a person can do so while maintaining a full time job, personal care, decent amount of sleep, and some socializing, not a lot, but some
