My new cat Barbara is really very shy. She's the sweetest cat in the world and would never lash out, and loves being pet, but she almost never approaches strangers due to being abandoned twice and surviving getting hit by a car (sad origin story), so I make extra certain to tell people when she does something unusually kind.

i visited some friends in Monroe Michigan, they had like 6 or 7 miniture poodle things. When i went to pat one, it ran, they told me that they never let anyone else pat them, I thought fine, so sat down, one by one they came to me, lay down and fell asleep on my lap. They were amazed, constantly saying that they NEVER do that to anyone. but happens all the time
