Don’t worry I loaned a family member my money for the switch lite in August with the promise of getting it back when the device came out, and it’s now a month later and I don’t think I’ll ever see the money again. They said “why do you need so much money for games? They’re just time wasters go make friends”

Tell them you need it to pay a bill because you might get something shut off. That is how I got some money I lent my aunt. I lent her 500 and when I asked for it when she said she pay me she said I don't need it. I would just buy games. Which is what I wanted it for. So I said no I need it to pay for my electric bill. It is going to get shut off if I don't have it. And it worked.

Sadly I’m a college student (no real bills at this moment) and I lent it to my mom who knows I don’t have anything pressing to pay

Say you broke someone's and you need to pay them lol than buy used and say they gave you the broken one
