Just rewatched this movie and this scene is amazing! Her parents truly do trust her and support her even though they do want to be a bit stern with her so she doesn’t abandon her studies. With mutual respect for each other they come to a compromise and then both parties see it through. I miss seeing understanding parents with their own concerns and lives in movies...
