Haha guy's definitely trying too hard. Not to mention if you're trying to lose weight, cheat days are actually a good thing. Limiting your calories makes your metabolism, and by extension your weight loss progress, slow down to a crawl. Cheat days help keep your metabolism snappy and quick as long as you don't overdo it by eating loads of gross junk food because that's just overall unhealthy.
I do them once a week but I've also read studies that doing two weeks on/two weeks off also works well for losing as well as maintaining weight. In other words there's not as much of a yo-yo effect when you have a cheat day or go on and off every once in a while.
No, I'm not saying I'm a glutton lol. I love to eat good, tasty food. But I do eat healthy and regular portions, just have to make what you eating taste good to enjoy it even if it's just a little or only healthy food.
I am always shocked when someone says something like that because I love (good) food and to cook. But I guess it would be easier to lose weight if I was like you lol. I'm not overweight but always want to lose a lb or 2
The tip is to stuff yourself with low calories food before your main meal.
Like eating tons ass of cucumber, kale before you have your steak and pasta.
And no food after 9 pm.
I've always been baffled by people who can just eat like rice cakes and salads. It sounds so unenjoyable lol
I've gone for having more muscle mass therefore more maintenance calories therefore I can afford to eat more and workouts are fun
I feel like it's a healthier way of living than not eating
@rosalinas oh for sure. I actually Dungy eat after 9 and dont eat meat. So I donlove cuxumbers and kale, but since I like to cook I like to make them tasty. I enjoy eating vegetables and whole grains/ beans. I do love bread and pizza though. Which I guess it's my "cheat meal" for dinner sometimes.
@ewqua saladas can be delicious and healthy (salads can be unhealthy too) if you het creative. I just enjoy doing that.
Another insight, its possible he could have had an eating disorder in the past. Alot of them end up with an unhealthy relationship with food. As an extension of this they are taught to view it as fuel for their body.

And the sight of too much food makes me lose my appetite.
Not much of a eater I suppose.
