It's the opposite with me and my dad. I only tip whenever the server does so well that I'd feel bad otherwise, but my dad will leave a huge tip for anybody that puts on a smile.

When my Mother and I go out to eat, I generally tip $2 for a server who smiles and is polite and I add $1 for every time they come to the table to refill drinks without me flagging them down, I usually end up tipping $5-6 by the end of the meal for a good server.
so you have one person that hasn't put in the work and is just starting and wants handouts and another person that has worked all their life to get where they are to have the things they want and there bad for having them and not giving their stuff to the first person. not the world i want to live in i'd rather keep what i worked for. and you work for what you want and get to keep it.
They did it by tax evasion.
