I still think the family has a right to be upset over the rashness of their actions. They are diplomats for their country and they have responsibilities they can’t just walk away from without consulting advisors and their “boss”/grandma/queen this leaves a bed impression on the world. It could easily make people think “oh England’s full of flakes” or “The U.K. is a horrible place to live not even the royalty wanna be there”. They’re two adults who signed up to be in their position of power (he could have abdicated earlier and she could have chosen not to marry a friggin prince) so no I’m not sorry that they come off as spoiled brats throwing tantrums and I can’t respect how they went through with their decision.
They didn't like something in their life and made a decision for their life. What is it of our concern? They experienced something they didn't agree with and made a change. Everybody has the right to be in control of their life.
"What is it of our concern?"
They're the royal family of my country.
"Everybody has the right to be in control of their life."
No royals, traditionally.
