Important facts:
1. This was from Glastonbury Music Festival, and the THEME that year was climate change and the environment (the festival itself was not created with that idea so the audience was not completely made of environmentalists).
2. The sale of plastic was completely banned at the festival, but there was not a ban on bringing your own plastic. Nevertheless, all plastic and aluminum left behind was recycled rather than trashed (and there was a significant reduction in the plastic left behind given that, in past festivals, they've sold more than a million plastic bottles before). Plus, they also used eco-friendly confetti!
So yeah, it's not perfect, but it's a damn good improvement.
People tend to be just naturally the worst. Whenever I leave a movie theater and see all the popcorn and garbage left behind I feel so annoyed
That’s why we should all strive to be better. Take a few extra seconds to bring tour own crap to the trash or recycling bin.
False. This was Glastonbury, it is a yearly festival, and they employ people to lend up afterwards.
The people that run it own the land it's held on as well, so I don't see the problem, but whatever Boomer.
