Can feel it

Some things are awkward without swearing imo. If I'm trying to show a lot of emotion, I'd rather not avoid particular words.

Swearing is a valid form of linguistic expression- if we think of language like painting- to say you can’t use certain colors or techniques because they may provoke emotion is problematic. In composition one chooses what they believe to be the best word for impact, emotion, flow, and to convey the information they are trying to convey. Often there are better words than swear words- but often a swear is the best word to concisely get across what you are saying on multiple levels. That said- it’s fine if someone finds swearing or contractions or formal/informal speech or honorifics unattractive.
