Do you even assimilate?

It takes people 12 years of schooling and 18 years of speaking the language conversationally and casually to get to sometimes not even fluency in speaking even just English and you expect to learn anything in just 4 years of extremely ineffective teaching styles learning only grammar?

Three years or more and that question is legitimate.
