If you are referring to medical testing “negative” means “indicators not found.” Magic Johnson is no longer HIV positive when tested but he still has HIV.
I just want to ask something. Why is it ok to tell someone who believes in God that their God does not exist yet you don't hear people walking up to other religions and saying their God isn't real?
When truth is NO ONE knows if one God or a different God or if all Gods or even if no Gods exist.
And when it comes down to it I rather spend my time believing that there is some form of God than none at all because if you are wrong and God isn't real than you lose nothing. But if you are wrong God DOES exist than you lose so much.
Well, three of the most prevalent religions share the same God just different prophets. There are many conflicts between those religions and Hinduism or Buddhism around the world. But to answer your original question: why wouldn’t it be ok to tell someone that they have a false belief? Humans are born without the concept of a God. Babies are atheists. Religions make a claim: there is a God. Being the ones making a claim means that the onus is on them to defend it. If I say that the moon is actually a giant dragon egg it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to get upset if someone points out that no tangible evidence supports that claim.
We could go on for years about if God is real or not but truth of the matter is you have no proof that God isn't real and I have no proof God is real. The only ones who have any proof are ones who died. Even the ones who died for a short time and come back and claim one way or another has no proof that they did or didn't see what they claim to see.
We have free will so we can choose to believe or to question. Though many think all the bible wants is blind Faith the truth is questioning the bible and God's existence is not frowned upon. It's encouraged.
If you blindly follow than it becomes a cult.
I wasn't always a believer I had my years of questions I even thought that maybe God isn't real. That maybe God was at one point or never was. But I come to be a strong believer. I even teach Sunday school.
No I am not a bible thumper who reads it daily and thinks the world is all sinners. I believe God didn't make all those rules I think most of them were made by translating "wrong".
I believe in a God that only wants you to love and be loved.
The Devil's greatest victory is putting doubt in humans. Doubt of if God is real. Making them question why God let's bad things happen. Instead of asking why did God let it happen we should ask why did it happen.
My Mom died from cancer. It started in her utures from an IUD being put in with out her knowledge so it stayed in way past it's time causing scar tissue which turned into cancer. The cancer spread to her breast. Than Jan 1st it went to her brain. And on Jan 22nd she died.
Do I cry and blame God? No I thank all those woman and men who died of cancer before my mom did so Doctors could learn about cancer and figured out a way to give us a whole year more with her. When if she wasn't treated it would of been so much shorter. And I hope Doctors learn from her death how to prolong someone's mom or daughter life so their family can spend more time with them.
Hay I believe in letting everyone believe in what they believe.
Honestly I truly believe somewhere there is still magic in this world. In some form or another. I also believe in ghost. Seen a few as well.
All anyone can do is discuss their side and let the other decided if they want to continue believe in what they believe or change their mind. You can't force them to change. Or they will never truly believe. All you can do is offer to be there if they have questions. Which is what I do.
