I never told my parents until a few months ago but my entire life was filled with them saying “when you marry a man- or a woman” and stuff like that so when I came out it there wasn’t any fear

I tend to use the term "partner" whenever I refer to people getting into relationships. My parents started doing the same when I said I don't really mind what someone is as long as I like them.
