I mean- in 1969 we could post a meme showing a couple lazy assholes riding around selfishly, doing drugs and not giving back to society- just looking for whatever makes them happy; and show “Men 1943” next to it and show a guy on a horse riding towards a .50 caliber machine gun nest to stop a genocidal army from conquering another country. Times change. A lot of people died so that those guys- whatever year- could ride around looking to get laid and only have to worry about finding a way to get the things they want in life.
