This issue is more typically seen in people with borderline personality disorder instead of immaturity. They have difficulty regulating their emotions, and thus tend to see disagreement as a personal attack

It’s unfortunate, but bpd is about as prevalent as autism but is much less obvious, so many people don’t know they have it, or that it even exists.

i'm just gonna assume people will think i'm attacking them for holding opinions i disagree instead of just thinking i disagree with them
