Thanks. It's been just over a year now since I had her put down. But I don't think I'll ever forgive myself for it, even though it was the right thing to do

My baby Pebbles had to be put to sleep because she'd gotten so sick she couldn't eat anymore. I would have given anything to not have to do it that way, but she was sixteen years old, diabetic, and I just couldn't bear to have her starve to death. It's awful but it really is a kindness

Putting her down let you end her suffering, you should try to forgive yourself because you know you did the best you could and you did what was right. I‘m so sorry you had to go through that though
