In fairness- the US covid stimulus sets asides $250 BILLION dollars- and that isn’t even enough to give every American citizen $1200. A “pizza party” for 10-15 employees- with medium quality pizza, will generally cost about $200-300. That’s $10,400 a year per ever 10-15 workers- or roughly pretty close to the amount the average person will get from the Covid stimulus plan if we divide by person per year.

Amazon has about 750,000 employees. At a round $1,000 a year for pizza- per person- even if we cut that number by 50,000 for executives and admins- thats 750,000 times $1,000. That’s actually a substantial amount- and the US government seems to think that $1000-1200 per person is enough to render substantial relief.
