Lol well ball pythons eat more rodents than birds. They actually don't even eat regular rats, they usually have to be trained to do that since our rats smell nothing like the rats they eat. She might not even be able to identify a chick as food.

That said, I don't actually let me snake roam on the loose, and ball pythons are ambush predators. They have a LOT of predators in the wild, so they usually prefer to find a place to hide and just stay there until prey wanders by.
