I get tired of all this “king/Queen” “founder” “cofounder” crap. You don’t have a kingdom. Half the people saying this stuff will be lucky to own a house, and founder of what? Again- most of the people saying this stuff couldn’t found a subway franchise but talk like they are out here raking in millions. From what? Trading penny stocks on apps and hustling Uber on the commute home?

Find yourself a partner. Ask for what you want in a partner. If the thing you care most about is looks, or how adventurous or willing someone is to get into bed- more power to you. If you want deep conversations and academic discourse- find that. Find the mix that works for you- but look at some of the richest most successful people out there and you’ll find plenty who’s spouses (past or present) weren’t their “king/Queen” or cofounder of shit. Because they already had that taken care of- what they wanted was something else.

*to be clear- I’m not shaming anyone. You don’t have to be rich to have a good life, or to be thankful for the things you have- but personally, it is a pet peeve when people want to talk and act like they are some kind of high roller or big shot, and usually not because they have any skills or ambitions that justify it- but because they have an ego and pipe dreams that require them to try to feel big. Dude- you don’t need a queen to help you vacuum your median priced suburban home or your cheap condo- you need a partner.

Personally I enjoy supporting a lackluster joy killer that is always there to spend money and need help.
