The United States is not currently involved in any conflicts to take oil. The last one was, arguably, early in the Iraq war, but even then it was not a deciding or even critical factor, it was to benefit Europe and her quality of life.
Doesn't matter, any non-American will take advantage in any way so they forget about their countries shitty situation. Just shows how ignorant they are to go "hur dur murica dumb"
May I, with highest interest, ask by how far you think that the involvement of US troops in Iraq or any other country around it has benefitted Europe's life quality?
Oil. Deterrence. Economic stimulation. Military support. Less energy dependence. Secure trade routes. Medicinal and technological advances.
Modern day Europe was built by and is largely maintained and defended by Uncle Sam.
Wow. Ok. That couldn't be farther from the truth, but I guess that's what Republicans tell you.
It is true that the Marshall plan gave Europe a nice start after WW2, but neither have US interventions in middle east done anything for our protection or supply situation, in fact every intervention has led to an increase of terror attacks in europe and massively increased energy prices, until we decided to buy our gas and oil in Russia.
Europe does not need to be maintained with any US interventions, our infrastructure, health and social systems are self sustaining and by far superior to those of the US.
Defence mainly was necessary during the cold war, and that was just because the US and Russia made Europe to their play ball in their dick size challenge.
Today Europe is valuable trading partner to actually all the world and there is no country having any war plans against us. We're mostly under attack when we support US troops in their adventures, which more and more are showing no sense at all.
I know your current president is blaming Europe for all that's going wrong when he's tired of blaming China, but there's no flesh to the bones as long as you look at the figures.
