Nothing changed

When those people in the older picture get to where they are going the newspaper will go in the garbage. They won't stare at it all day long...while with friends...at the dinner table...during a movie...etc..

I just saw something on this very topic in some YouTube video. A complaint was being made, that after dinner, rather than talking, everyone in the family was buried in their favourite magazines. This was in 1924. The more things change...
