I heard one of their songs a long time ago, but only re-discovered them a couple years ago. Been hooked ever since haha. Dunno how well known they are, but they definitely have a bit of a cult-following. And they use their songs for world-building too which is interesting
Yeah, I sometimes have that weirdness with bands/artists where I don't know how well known they are. It's sort of like when you've learned a new word through reading, but say it wrong in speech embarrassingly. I guess an artifact of not being around or speaking to many people often. For some reason, it reminded me of The Big Star. I suppose only because of the names share "star". Haha I don't think that qualifies resemblance. I will go listen to "thirteen" though
