I use both. Generally I prefer windows based computers, but for some things I prefer my Macs. I think the main problems are that 1. The argument is often “X brand is TOTAL shit” as opposed to SHITTY which we can say of most things. 2. Usually the brand fans don’t say “yours sucks and mine sucks too.” They tend to say “man! x brand is way worse. Let me tell you why without actually knowing what I am talking about...” In reality- Microsoft and Apple have very different philosophies. They tend to cater to different markets and they make machines with different users and use cases in mind. It isn’t that one is better than the other- in 2020 most of the hardware comes from the same places and the specs are all pretty close when comparing like to like. It’s just the details and what an individual prioritizes that makes one better for any given person or need.
