just to put a bit of information to this, when people got dragged away they would often take off their masks and scream their name and proclaim that they will not commit suicide so that, should they be killed, it couldnt be covered up by a fake suicide nearly as easily.

I remember reading up about that... its fucking insane that some people of power can just fuck around with human lives
