Studies actually show that contrary to folk belief like “scream into a pillow” or “just vent sometimes”... that yelling isn’t really a healthy expression of emotion. “Letting it out” is actually more likely long term to lead to you being MORE irritable and less happy. We all will get angry sometimes- but how we express that anger matters for our well being as well as for the general state of society.
