Sucks for Florida. Sounds like the Florida State government and people have work to do.
Too bad people are trying to shit on the feds for refusing to help a locale that refused their assistance in preventing the problem, or maybe there'd be more resources to spare.
The feds are still the ones ending unemployment benefits at the end of this month despite people still getting laid off, threatening to revoke school funding if they want to continue online schooling, are allocating covid results to the trump administration instead of the CDC, are currently reducing the number of testing sites, oh and don’t forget the fact that they’re granting small business loans to people like Kanye west and the trump children for PPE
Unemployment ain't infinite.
All the more reason why education shouldn't be under the feds, as it was never meant to be.
CDC is a part of the executive branch.
Testing sites can be ran at lower levels, probably better, too.
And the loan is subject to certain criteria and conditions. It ain't POTUS pointing at businesses and giving a thumbs up or down, it's just the system being played. Like always.
The landscape mostly. But the people seemed pretty similar, too, from the little I got to talk to them. I wasn't there very long mind you. And I've never been to Texas, which is apparently like Western Canada on steroids from what I've heard
