Please forgive me

The other day someone mentioned that there will likely be a COVID baby boom. I said "Why would anyone try to get pregnant during a pandemic and an economic crisis? Sounds like a bad decision." Fast forward to a a few weeks later, and I find out she is pregnant. Definitely feel like I put my foot in my mouth, but also still feel like I am right.
