“Guys with money” is a wide range. The “salesman” and the “handshaker” and the “influencer” and such tend to prioritize looks a lot more than the engineer or the technical person who is often more concerned with absolute compatibility and enjoyment of a partner. People who live externally tend to be more concerned with the external and people who live more internally in worlds they create tend to be more concerned with the internal. It’s the difference between wanting to share your partner with the world, and wanting to share your world with your partner.
