I like to gulp, can't gulp around ice without a straw; so no.

I’ll leave the “some people need straws” thing alone. We’ve done this before. I’ll present another argument. “We should use bio diesel/Ethenol instead of petrol! No. We should use electric cars instead of either... the intellectual... walks.” We can do this for most “green” ideas- I mean- the solution to almost every single “eco” problem is “don’t use technology at all!” I mean hell- why use the glass? Drink from the faucet. Why have a faucet? Dig a hole and drink the water that collects. On and on it can go in one upsmanship. The point behind most of this “green” stuff is to try to keep enjoying the conveniences and luxuries and such that we already do, while minimizing or reducing their impact.
