We need to examine two key points.
1. Murder is a killing one doesn’t have the authority to commit. A “supreme god” would be the utmost authority and so could only “murder” if they killed someone whom they couldn’t justify or didn’t allow themselves to.
2. In the span of “eternity” life isn’t even a blink. The entire known span of human existence is a tiny fraction of the span the earth has existed let alone the universe, let alone forever past and future. The theoretical danger of Satan isn’t what Satan would do on this earth- it is what implications that has for a persons “eternal soul” or “after life.” That’s the real root of the term “deal with the devil” for a foolishly lopsided trade who’s hidden costs are theoretically greater than the gains.
