The impeachment sham screwed over Bernie's campaign, making it twice in two election periods that the Dems fucked over a candidate that their members actually like, in favor of the establishment jerk who's spent too long on the Hill.

@illusion666- it’s ok. The president himself doesn’t seem to understand what he’s saying a good deal of the time. But if you ever get confused, just directly quote whatever he said to a Trump supporter and they will gladly tell you that “what he meant by that was...” or “he was just joking.” But just be prepared because mentioning anything Trump says is bound to bring long winded tales about mainstream media, plots by the Chinese and the Democrats, and a whole host of things that you’ll have to them find someone else to translate to “sane English.”

Lmao. Yeah. I was half kidding- but I’m glad you saw the humor in it. But I’d agree that most 11 year olds I know can not only speak and write more eloquently, but can foster some semblance of manners and diplomacy. The Turnips main point was that the Democratic Party leadership sabotaged Bernie Sanders so that they could put Joe Biden in the election by preventing Sanders from running for the nomination. Which is arguably true, but it’s also unlikely he could have clenched the nomination anyway. That said- one could also say that the Turnip is saying this to influence the election.

In other words, by making people who would have voted or may have voted against him, mad at the party he’s running against, by putting democrat against democrat and dividing his opponents into camps, he prevents those who would be against him from using their combined strength against him. Funny enough, In the last race in 2016, when Hillary and Sanders were the left leaning favorites against trump, the general consensus is that Votes and support going to Sanders, and voters upset about Hillary being the democrats favorite, cost Hilary the election. So we’ve already seen on the last race what happens when one party is divided between 2 choices and the other party is largely United on one pick.

It’s all just rubbish. You’re probably better off being behind lol. But politicians are playing political games- like this tweet- to try and swing things in their favor. Trump doesn’t need a majority of votes, he didn’t have the majority last time. He just needs enough of a margin ahead of of the other runners. Kanye West putting his name in already was a concern since Kanye is thought to be more likely to take votes that would go to Biden otherwise- especially black voters. So by dividing and turning democrats against each other, the Turnip can basically take people who wouldn’t vote for him no matter what, and get them to vote for a candidate who is the equivalent of throwing away your vote. Thusly he can neutralize votes without taking votes from himself.
