(Also please note that after taking the pic you should place the rocks back where you found them, for biodiversity and coast protection. -I can elaborate bit that's already enough of a killjoy)

For the biodiversity: some species live under rocks at various moments of the day, so basically doing this steals their home. Moreover, piles of rock tumble after a while, and the subsequent vibrations bring stress to the animals living in the ground.
For the coast lines: removing rocks from their original spot changes their répartition along the coast and that impairs the way water is "retained" when it goes up. On the long run, sea/ocean water can erode rocks it wouldn't have been touching in the first place, which drastically changes the shape of the coastline.
