So it's not a black and white image.

Given the frequency of these lines, the fact that it's zoomed out and there's only so many pixels on my screen, on top of the fact a lot of this image is black and white (particularly in the center)
I'd say this is an incredibly bad example of an interesting visual processing effect.
Go back to the drawing board
