More importantly: Where Dubya came off like a dumbass at times, I don't think anyone will deny he legitimately did what he felt was best for this country. Whether it was or not can be debated, but one cannot argue his sense of service to the people. Trump, on the other hand, has never served any interest but his own. And his actions now are the acts of a small, petty wannabe despot who is more than willing to destroy this country rather than hand over power willingly. Thankfully, this country's Constitution is more than strong enough to withstand his assaults.

Yes. While W wasn’t everyone’s favorite guy, and he could say and do seemingly stupid things, he also had an intelligence and was diplomatic. That diplomacy may have been more quick to resort to violence than some would like. W was able to work with different political ideologies. He was able to get support for many of his moves, from across the isles. As you say- he also largely did what he thought was right for the country, save perhaps some moves made for friends and business- but USUALLY those were just piggy backed on something else- icing on the cake, not the reason for the cake. W was respected by people who weren’t his die hard supporters or inner circle. W transitioned from and to democrats in civil manners, with Clinton and Obama backing him and offering aid at times, and W doing the same for them.

Compare that to this sack- the great pumpkin- who was welcomed to the white house by the outgoing president as tradition and diplomacy dictate- and metaphorically spit is his face. Who refuses to concede and we have serious questions- his own inner circle have doubts, he will leave the office peacefully let alone amicably and diplomatically. Trump refused to hang Obama’s presidential portrait. How petty and divisive is that? A president disrespecting a fellow president, in ways like that as well as frequent public bashing and ridicule?

A man who has meddled in, tried to stop, retaliated against members of government conducting investigations against him and his pals- bemoaned the “witch hunts” that waste tax payer money and serve only politics- and 4 years later is STILL trying to raise hell about Hillary Clinton and debunked emails, about Joe Biden and his business dealings. When Trump was accused of misconduct to get elected and while elected- it’s a witch hunt. But he wants to investigate the former Vice President who wasn’t even in office at the time- for misconduct? American intelligence CONFIRMS that Russia meddled in the 2016 elections to get Trump elected. And he’s STILL talking about democrats spying on him and such?

He’s not a “business man” as people say he is. He’s selfish- as you say. His “business” have largely been cons where when the dust settled, everyone else lost money and he managed to come out ahead. If we call him a business man- he’s one who has been bankrupt more times than he’s been listed on the fortune list. Hes meeting Russian intelligence while Russia is meddling in the election, while trying to do business in Russia- oh. And he owes millions to a foreign bank. But no. He totally has America’s best interests in mind.

I’m sure that’s why Russia tried to get him elected in 2016 and 2020. I’m sure that’s why Russia is refusing to accept Joe Biden as president elect publicly. It’s because Russia loves America so much and wants us to succeed so badly. Russia just wants what is best for America, just like Donald Trump does!

I could believe people supported W because of ideological differences. Policy differences. What is trunks policy? His only policy is: “China is bad,” “Obamacare is bad” “keep coal and oil and gas mining going,” and “stop immigration.” Everything else he’s all over the place. All over. He bashes the military and seems to have a fragile grasp on what it does and how it works- and then he gives speeches about how great our military is. He’s a walking, selfish mess of a man who by and large unless you are a wealthy person- my only conclusions are that the only reasons to back him have to be some measure of ignorance, stupidity, or hate. He’s no clown. He’s a turd. Human garbage.
